Sponsorship & Funding
As a registered charity and non-profit society, we've always worked hard at SUNIA to keep our program as financially accessible as possible. Part of this involves providing funding opportunities for those who demonstrate financial need, working with community organizations to offer scholarships, and developing resources to help individuals who wish to seek out their own community sponsorship. If you would like to come to SUNIA but need some help paying the associated fees, this page is here to help you! Throughout the year, new opportunities may be added to this page.
Please note: You must be registered to be considered for these opportunities. If you have any questions regarding the sponsorship process, please contact our Registrar, Victor Frunza, at (780) 237-6118 or via email at email@example.com.
Many different organizations and individuals in the community share our goal of making SUNIA accessible, and help us achieve that by offering the scholarships listed below.

Businesses and individuals are often willing to sponsor students to attend SUNIA. As a registered charity, SUNIA can provide charitable receipts for any sponsorship donations made to the program. SUNIA has a sponsorship package to help you find a sponsor. This package includes a list of suggested sponsors, a letter template for you, and a letter from our registrar to help you in your funding quest.

If you're an organization that has funding available or you wish to help make attending SUNIA more accessible for students, please feel free to reach out to our Partnerships Coordinator, who will be happy to find something that works best for you and your organization!
SUNIA is proud to be able to provide bursaries to students who would otherwise be unable to attend our program due to financial need. We cannot guarantee that you will receive your requested amount, as this will depend on the demand for bursaries and the number of students who request a bursary. Please note that a bursary can only cover SUNIA's registration fees, a maximum of $595.00, and cannot be used for any other payment related to a student's participation in our program, such as travel.
We recommend that students applying for bursaries also apply to any relevant scholarships above to maximize the likelihood that they will have their experience fully or partially funded.
Please note that in order for your bursary request to be processed correctly, you must first be registered with our program.
